is a family oriented surf company serving the Santa
Barbara area.
Jeff
Wolfe is the owner and head instructor of Ocean Adventures.
He has a deep passion for the ocean, ocean activities,
travel, the desert and teaching. With a background
in ocean sports, environmental science and teaching,
Ocean Adventures is the realization of a dream to
work, live and share passion for the ocean with others.
Jeff
Wolfe is 29 years old with over 20 years of ocean
experience including surfing, kayaking, body surfing,
and free-diving. He holds degrees in Environmental
Studies, Business and Spanish. He has spent as much
of every summer as possible at the beach since he
was 8yrs old.
Kayla
is from an amazing local Santa Barbara family with
a history of lifeguarding. We nabbed her from Los
Banos and converted her to a watergirl. Kayla is amazingly
patient and pleasant and essential to camp in and
out of the water.
Grant
is Kayla's older brother and another lifeguard. Los
Banos wanted him to be head lifeguard but we nabbed
him too. He's got the safety and water skills down
and is quickly becoming a keen surfer and kayaker.
Shannon
is our main surf instructor for beginers. She has
a knack of getting the most stubborn, scared and non-motivated
kids surfing. She's leads gymnastics sessions when
the surf if flat and is typically followed by a pack
of girls wherever she goes.
Anthony
joined us at the end of 2006. He's a local waterman
and aspiring surfer. He's also quite knowledgeable
in cars.
Maria
is our Marine Biology instructor for both camp and
our UCSB summer classes. Maria normally works at the
SeaCenter but makes special arrangements to come teach
at the beach for us. Don't miss her Marine
